The different breathing techniques we use in class
How to "lock the knee"
Understanding and handling the emotions and sensations that may arise during class
The opportunity to ask your burning questions and better understand this powerfully therapeutic practice
Perfect for those just starting their practice and those wanting to learn more!
Bring along: mat, towel, water, pen & paper, and comfortable clothes (suitable for doing postures). Non-heated room.
"I've been practising Bikram’s series for 13 years and teaching for 10 years. Teacher training in 2010 completely changed my life. My passion for the Beginner’s Series is what drives me to show up for myself and my students every time I practise or teach. My personal practice has evolved and shifted so much in the past 13 years - from practising daily and competing, then having 2 kids and the changes that come with that... What I love the most is the yoga is always there; the same constant practice. I've learnt so much about myself mentally, emotionally and physically just by showing up on my mat, class after class.
